I am an international donor can I give through this site?

Unfortunately this site cannot accept donations from international donors. To make you gift online you can go to www.udmercy.edu/donate or for athletics gifts www.udmercy.edu/donate/athletics.

Gifts to projects featured on Momentum are considered charitable contributions to University of Detroit Mercy. All gifts are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.

How do I finalize and submit my donation?

On this page, after completing all the information, to submit your gift scroll down until you see and then select the Give Now button on this page.

Will I receive a receipt for my contribution?

Yes! You will receive a gift acknowledgment and tax receipt from University of Detroit Mercy.

How can I double my donation?

Thousands of companies match gifts to higher education, which can double or triple your gift. To find out if your employer (or your spouse's employer) has a matching gift program, please visit www.udmercy.edu/giving/matching/

If so, please contact your Human Resources representative for a matching gift form. You may need to provide Detroit Mercy's Employer Identification Number (EIN) on the form, which is 38-1360586.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card is charged immediately upon finalizing your gift.

Can I give by mail or phone?

Impact provides a platform to easily make online gifts. If you are interested in giving to a particular Impact project by phone please contact wernetjm@udmercy.edu for more information.

If you wish to send a check, please make your check payable to University of Detroit Mercy, write the specific Impact project on the memo line, and mail it to:

What do the project giving levels represent?

Momentum project giving levels represent suggested donation amounts with a description of the types of things you will help make possible within each campaign. Individual gifts made on Momentum to University of Detroit Mercy projects combine with other gifts to support the overall project needs. Your contribution might not be allocated directly to a specifically described item; your gift will go where it will do the most good by combining it with the gifts of others to achieve the overall project goals.
