Women's Lacrosse 2018-2019

One of four varsity sports that do not play in the Horizon League, lacrosse is a growing sport especially in the Midwest. 

The women's lacrosse team plays in the Southern Conference, which involves lots of travel. We face schools in Georgia and Delaware as well as Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio. They will play Georgia twice this year and have five road trips back to back.

We are asking for help with travel costs because we have to travel so many times during the season. Sometimes we drive and sometimes we fly but it is always expensive, especially when we take the whole team, which has a roster of 30 women.

In addition to travel costs, we also need to update the locker room with a new floor, doors, lockers and  new signs with Detroit Mercy’s current logo.

We win on the field and in the classroom, now we hope to post another win as well by beating the other Titan sport teams in this crowdfunding challenge. Please donate to our program.
