The Detroit Mercy Chem Club (ACS Student Mentors) has been rated as outstanding by the National American Chemical Society for the last 14 years. Your donation will help the club travel to the ACS National meeting to present research and receive their award, in conjunction with a designation as a Green Chemistry Chapter as well.
ACS national meetings are where chemistry professionals meet to share ideas and advance scientific and technical knowledge. By attracting thousands of chemical professionals, the meeting provides excellent opportunities for sharing a passion for chemistry, connecting with the world’s largest scientific society, and networking in this ever-changing global economy.
You are a proud supporter of travel for undergraduate Chem Club students in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Departments at University of Detroit Mercy.
Your donation will help fund a student's daily needs while attending an ACS National Conference.
Registration, membership and abstract fees may be required in order for an undergraduate Chem Club student to attend a conference. Your donation will help offset these costs.
Chem Club students will have to stay overnight when attending the ACS National Conference. Your gift will help cover the cost of lodging during the conference.
The ACS National conferences are often located at great distances from Detroit. Your donation will make travel to a national ACS conference more affordable for Chem Club students.
