As a Scholar's Friend you provide assistance to a Detroit Mercy student who is blind-sided by unexpected emergencies. Your student will call and let you know the difference you made in helping them continue their education.

Students who do not qualify for federal aid or loans, and who may not qualify for a need-based or merit-base scholarship are so grateful to their Scholar's Champion that they will share their story with you in a personal note.

Detroit Mercy seniors call anyone who contributes $1,000 or more a Scholar's Angel. A gift at this level allows a Detroit Mercy senior to pay off his or hers outstanding balance and graduate. Your senior will write you a thank you letter from the heart and you become a President's Cabinet-level donor.
